Our Commitment
That's why, effective immediately, $1 from every single sale on catchphrasepoet.com is donated directly to Rose Haven CIC in Portland.
Rose Haven runs the only day shelter in the city dedicated to women, children, and marginalized genders experiencing homelessness. They hand out tents, tarps, sleeping bags, hygiene kits, clothing, and whatever else people living on the street need right now. No big corporate overhead — just real help, right where it's needed most.
This Isn't a Marketing Move
I have life long, found family, "play living" on the shit stained, broken streets.
I've watched real darkness take over my own life. The frustration of it all sits heavy — I don't like feeling this way.
I try to imagine what it's like to wake up every single day with almost no reason to keep going. That uncommon desire to even continue. Just grinding through the same degrading, tedious bullshit while carrying all that self-anguish inside.
If you've never been at the very bottom of the emotional ladder—where you've become a ghost in your own life, indifferent to the dawn—then you don't know how brutal hopelessness really feels
People can think whatever they want about this brand, about me sharing this, about the $1 going to the streets… I find my heart entirely vacant of concern.
